Though she knew she wanted to be an artist by the third grade, Anne Neilson began seriously painting with oils in 2003 and soon became nationally known for her ethereal Angel Series. A favorite among individuals and private art collectors, Neilson's paintings are inspiring reflections of her faith and recognized for their flair and use of color.
In response to demand for more access to her acclaimed Angel paintings, Neilson published two coffee table books and launched Anne Neilson Home in 2012. Additional books by Anne Neilson include Anne Neilson’s Angels: Devotions and Art to Encourage, Refresh and Inspire, Entertaining Angels: True Stories and Art Inspired by Divine Encounters.
On Wednesday, May 1, Anne Neilson will sign her newest release, a memoir, The Brushstrokes Of Life: Discovering How God Brings Beauty and Purpose to Your Story at St. Michael’s Woman’s Exchange.
In this beautiful memoir, Anne shares personal stories about why her faith is so important to her and resonates in all her work. She shares her belief that God has deposited a gift inside each of us; and she wants to help each of us to find that gift by sharing her personal story.
As a wife, mother of four, artist, author, and philanthropist, Anne paints with passion and purpose. We are delighted to welcome this talented and inspiring author to The Exchange and invite you to join us on Monday, May 1 between 2:00 and 3:30. We are also well-stocked with Anne’s previous books as well as other products which feature her well-known angel images.
